About Durban Oil & Gas
A midstream gas infrastructure developer working between gas supply and the point of use.
Durban Oil & Gas develops and operates LNG and CNG facilities that deliver natural gas solutions in Nigeria.
The company works in the midstream: the stretch between gas supply and the equipment that finally burns it. Stations, storage and road logistics are all part of that same job.
Mother and daughter stations, compressed and trucked.
Modular storage on site, replenished by tanker.
Where we sit
One journey, three spans. The middle one is ours.
Gas supply
Natural gas is produced and made available.
Facilities, distribution and logistics
- Facilities CNG stations and modular LNG storage, developed and operated.
- Distribution Mother and daughter station networks carrying supply outward.
- Logistics Road transport and last-mile delivery beyond the pipeline.
Point of use
Factories, fleets, commercial operations and power users.
How the work fits together
CNG infrastructure carries pipeline gas to users the pipeline never reaches. A mother station sits on gas supply and compresses it for transport; daughter stations receive that gas where it is needed, whether that is a refuelling forecourt, an industrial site or a point along a transport corridor.
Liquefied natural gas takes a different route to the same place. Modular storage holds gas on site as LNG, and scheduled tanker deliveries keep it replenished, which makes supply practical for sites well beyond the fixed network.
Holding both routes together is a logistics operation: sourcing the gas, compressing or liquefying it, moving it by road, and handing it over at the point of use. That last leg decides whether the rest of the chain is any use to a customer.
Everything we develop exists to make one switch practical: from diesel to natural gas.
Who the switch is for
Industry
Factories and manufacturers changing the fuel behind daily operations.
Transport
Fleets that need CNG refuelling on the routes they already run.
Power
Operations adopting natural gas for generation.
